‘Connecticut’ comes down this Saturday

‘Connecticut’ at the Diamond, the Richmond Braves former stadium is set to come down this Saturday the 13th starting at 10 am. According to Paul DiPasquale the artist of the sculpture, they will be using a crane this time.

Norwood Taylor, the director of the food pantry at Ginter Park United Methodist Church, spends his Wednesday mornings preparing food bags and other supplies for those in need. His pantry operates on a weekly basis for individuals who need emergency food assistance.

Richmond finally got to see a little SNOW! The official measurement was recorded at the Richmond International Airport, 5.75 inches, however places in Northern and Western Richmond saw as much as 10 inches!

If you took any pictures of the snow and you want to share, please post them on the site! After all we may not see snow like this again for another eight years.
