Your support of the Richmond Habitat ReStore will improve the living conditions of many people right here, locally. In addition, we can save thousands of pounds of usable construction materials from the landfill. Leaf collection program suspended until further notice
Due to all the rain and snow the City of Richmond has decided to suspend their leaf collection program until further notice. You can still bag your leaves and put them out with your trash though. Please limit to 6 bags per week. Please continue to check here or call the leaf hotline at 646-LEAF for updates on when the service will resume.

Christmas Tree Disposal Info – 2008/2009
There are approximately 25-30 million Real Christmas Trees sold in the U.S. every year. Real trees are a renewable, recyclable resource. CVWMA encourages residents throughout the Central Virginia region to recycle their personal trees. The Christmas Tree Recycling Program offered by our member localities to their residents is yet another way to recycle and go green for the holidays. The recycled trees will be ground into a mulch product.
