There will be a Minority Art Exhibit at Metro Space Gallery this Thursday August 20th from 6-9 PM, 119 W. Broad St. It is sponsored by Urban News Weekly and Chef Mamusu. Featured artists will include Ray Oyola, James E. Clarke III, Inga Maria, Keith Ramsey, Mauricio Patarroyo, Jason Ford and Langston Tupponce. Some proceeds from a silent auction will benefit Freedom House, a charity that provides the homeless and working poor with food, shelter and life skills. It looks like fun! See the full

MAE was the only known event where I could see true minority art in a open showcase. All contemporary! I think the movement for minority art and expresssion has begun. Can’t wait for the next one. Oh. Keith Ramsey’s series, DILLUTED LOSS, will make revisit your knowledge of minorities in WWII. Wow!
Shalom!
