Great! Nice how I hear about this randomly while trying to figure out if there’s some sort of Fulton block party tonight. I live right across the street. Shouldn’t we have at least been asked for our input? The condos will raise my land values but this little hohouse will make it even harder to sell! I had this house on the market for 9 months with no offers before!

I think this is awesome. You get someone to do all the work to renovate buildings and then fail. Then somebody else will get the property already renovated for a song and put in something more successful. I think we should get people like this to renovate all the closed shops on government.

Horrible idea. This will never work, especially in this location. The way he describes his servers is degrading as well. I know plently of attractive, intelligent women that much more ambition that waiting on pompous, rich pricks.

actually, it is POW-HITE. like many of the streets/towns/rivers/etc. in our area, it comes from an american indian word. it’s similar to naming shopping centers after the trees that were destroyed to make the shopping center. except in this case, it’s people. PO-WHITE is just local color.

I agree with vmallonee…it is completely NUTS, pretentious, ridiculous and in this economy, more separation of people – only salaries over 150k allowed…THEY ARE THE MAIN CROOKS… is he looking for a future bailout? EASY ON THE EYES…is he from the 50’s trying to bring back the words “male chauvinist PIG” or is he just so unattractive that he wants to surround himself with beauty? Did he just fall off the turnip truck? It figures, he is associated with the Ukrops’…they’re the ones who wanted to change the name of the PO-WHITE to POW-HITE because they’ve lived here…this is just more BS to distract citizens from the facts. Remember the 2500 club on Broad Street, they were membership driven too BEFORE THEY CLOSED!

I meet this guy once while I was doing work on opening a popular restaurant/bar around the riverfront in 2007. This guy is a complete joke with no restaurant experience. While he pitched his idea to me I was awe struck at how ludicrous the idea was and was even more shocked at how adamant he was in thinking this was a great idea. As a professional in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years-this Chester breed, F-150 driving guy has no chance. I think he said he made money owning a paper factory or something.

This idea is completely nuts! What kind of pretentious person would think of such a ridiculous idea? OK, maybe in the West End but not in the East End. I just love how he calls them “maidens” and says they will be “easy on the eyes.” UGH.
