Voting felt great

I don’t know about everybody else, but voting last week felt great.  The line around the block at 6AM was crazy but I felt honored to wait for a few hours just to witness a few folks who came out cheering.  I have voted plenty of times but never, ever did I think that voting would inspire folks to walk out of the polling place and give a loud yalp of joy.  I was more reserved, but hearing those of you who weren’t made me happy to live in this neighborhood. Thank you.

    I felt the same way. Even though some people may have found it loud or disturbing, I felt moved to hear that people were actually whooping for pure happiness…something a lot of us probably havnt done since we were children
