Comment now »The Center for Progressive Leadership, one of the nation’s leading progressive political training organizations will be offering one of their 2008 Voter Mobilization Trainings right here in Virginia. The training is supported by leading organizations in the state such as: the Virginia Organizing Project, the Virginia Interfaith Center on Public Policy, and the Virginia League of Conservation Voters. It is going to be a historic year and we are excited to help train the leaders that are going to make the change we need!

This interactive two-day workshop will take place on Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17 at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden- Education & Library Complex (ELC) in Richmond. The training will equip first-time and experienced progressive activists, organizers, and campaign staff with effective tools for success this election year! You will learn effective electoral organizing skills from highly-talented trainers such as: Direct Voter Contact, Online Organizing Tools, Campaign Planning and Management, and much more. www.ProgressiveLeaders.org/mobilization.
