A friend living on that block says there were at least 30 shots fired. Pretty intense and scary.

During the school year, I used to live with my aunt at 5120 Salem St. I remember there used to be what used to be a corner store across the street that was always rented out to the wrong people who always gathered crowds who stood on that corner. I don’t know if the same is going on now, but they were always a concern.
In an unrelated story, I remember being home watching Famili Matters on Friday, December 13th in 1991 when a man was shot directly across the street from where we were. He died later. We moved in 1997 but kept in touch with some of our old neighbors still there. What’s going on? We hear it’s not as safe as it had been.
I remember last Septemeber when I did my photo tour of most of Fulton I encountered a crowd at Parker and National who thought I was taking pics of them. It’s sad especially when for some reason young teens can’t comprehend taking pictures of other things than people. They left me alone, but it was a scary experience. The rest of my walk and drive through wasn’t bad. I will when the weather cools off, come back and do more shots particularly along Salem, Parker, and Blue Ridge. I only did drive throughs and it was getting dark. I’ll also have to do Montrose Heights, so if you see a fat black guy walking around taking pics especially at each intersection, it’s just me and I mean no harm.
Will the person be okay; I truly pray they will.
