Fulton Hill Civic Association Urges Community Involvement

Why should you attend the next Fulton Civic Association Meeting?

  1. Free refreshments – Last night we got cookies and punch. There’s always something good.
  2. Door prizes – It’s always fun to guess what’s in the mystery packages on the front table. Once I got a really useful CD case.
  3. Meet new people. One of the best things about Fulton Hill is that it’s surprisingly diverse. Show up. Share your uniqueness with your neighbors.
  4. If you tell us you’ve recently had a birthday, we’ll sing “Happy Birthday” for you.
  5. Special guests – Richmond police officers frequently attend, but they’ve never arrested anyone at a meeting. Last night we met Officer Ford, now in charge of environmental and community matters for our precinct. If you know of a section of the neighborhood that needs cleaning up, he can direct some community service workers to the area if you give him a call at 646-0680.
  6. Your Civic Association is an opportunity waiting for you. Come and share your ideas about how to make our community better.

This is not helpful if we do not know where the meetings are located or the time of these meetings.

    Beth,

You make a good point. Thanks. The next meeting of the Civic Association will be Tuesday night at 7:00 PM at the Neighborhood Resource Center at 1519 Williamsburg Road.

We hope you attend and we welcome your suggestions on how we may best publicize these meetings.
