Big Mama’s cart serves up home-cooked soul food
Next time you’re craving a delicious home-cooked meal, head down to Williamsburg Road and treat yourself to the soul food delights of Big Mama’s vending cart. CEO and head chef Earline Fenner has been running her own food business for more than thirty years. The cart is just one of the places she drops off her made-fresh-daily food. At about $4 a plate, it’s a bargain, too. Fenner says, “I fix it daily, when you fix it fresh, people enjoy it better.” Big Mama’s cart is open from 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
