Do you need some collard greens for your table? Some gentlemen from North Carolina are selling greens from atop their pickup truck at the bottom of Powhatan Hill. Apparently $10 will buy you a HUGE bag of greens. I’ve already unloaded some on our dear postman but I’ve got more to share. Seriously!

I also noticed a few minutes ago that there’s another fella selling greens from his truck in the parking lot of the tire shop near Dairy King. Looks like there’s plenty to go around.

I didn’t have the presence of mind to snap a photo while I was buying the greens but I shot a few as I drove off. Here’s a great site with the history and recipes of collards.
